Would you like to do some mystery shopping for Healthwatch?

14/12/2017

Do you identify as having a disability, impairment or sensory loss? Perhaps you’re the parent, family member, friend of carer or someone who does? Healthwatch is recruiting volunteers to visit GP practices across Islington to see how well they are meeting the needs of these patients.

What is mystery shopping?

As a mystery shopper you’ll visit GP practices posing as a patient or a service user. You’ll make a judgement on how well you are treated, in terms of customer service and information provision. In particular you’ll be looking to see how they are making reasonable adjustments for patients with information and communication support needs – in line with the Accessible Information Standard. After each visit you’ll complete a short questionnaire.

Training and reimbursement of travel expenses will be provided. If you’re interested fill out the expression of interest form on our volunteering page, or contact Jeni on 0207 832 5821. Please get in touch no later than 8 January.
