Increasing the uptake of the flu vaccination for young children and pregnant women from BME communities

Manor Gardens Welfare Trust and Healthwatch Islington are hosting a series of online events around the flu vaccination on behalf of the North Central London healthcare commissioners. This event is the second in a series of three and is targeted at groups and organisations who work with families with children between 2 and 5 years old and pregnant women, from the local black and minority ethnic community.

These events will increase awareness of the importance of the flu vaccination; provide accurate information related to vaccinations, and specifically the flu vaccination, including ‘myth-busting’; and promote the availability and ways of accessing the vaccination across the Borough.

Come ready to talk about issues your clients may have and to work together to encourage residents to understand the importance of the flu vaccination this year.
