Who we are and what we do
We are the independent champion for people who use health and social care services in Islington. We’re here to make sure that those running services put people at the heart of care.
Our purpose is to understand the needs, experiences, and concerns of people who use health and social care services and to speak out on their behalf.
We are all ears
You can help services understand the issues affecting care for you and your loved ones by telling us. It's our job to listen to your experiences and share your views with those who can do something about it.
We're here to listen if you’ve recently used a health service and want to share your experience.
Challenging inequality
We know that some of our residents and communities experience health inequalities. These include how long people are likely to live, the health conditions they may experience, and the care that is available to them. We ask commissioners and providers to challenge inequality in the way they design and deliver health and care services.
We are asking all organisations involved in health and care to pledge three actions they will take to become more inclusive. We've made three of our own. Read our pledges.
