The Podiatry Foot Health Service

Summary

In August and September 2016 we visited the seven health centres in Islington that offer podiatry services, and talked to service users about their experiences. This report is based on their feedback, and that of the health centre staff to whom we spoke.

• On the whole patients were positive about the staff and service.
• However, 21 of the 33 patients we spoke to said that they had been waiting longer than they should have for their appointment.
• The system by which appointment letters are sent out needs to be improved.
