We engaged with over 2,200 residents, providing information, digital support, and gathering views on accessing health and care services, experiences of Long Covid, and the wider impact of the pandemic.

About us
We are the independent champion for people who use health and social care services in Islington.
We are here to find out what matters to people, and help make sure their views shape the support they need. We also help people find the information they need about local services.
Our year in numbers
- 1,269 residents were provided with trustworthy information on topics such as dentistry, COVID-19 vaccinations, and keeping warm in winter.
- 400 people shared their experiences of health and social care services.
- We published 6 reports about the improvements people would like to see in health and care.

We were lucky to have 26 outstanding volunteers, who gave their time across 107 days to make care better for our community.

We saw over 20,000 visits to advice and information resources on our website.
Highlights from the year
- Raising awareness of problems with NHS dental services, and the Long Covid treatment pathway.
- Helping improve access to General Practice.
- Working with community partners to address vaccine hesitancy.
- Helping residents in poverty cope with rising energy bills.
