Jana Witt is the new Chair of Healthwatch Islington

We are please to announce that Jana Witt has been appointed as the new Chair of Healthwatch Islington. Our organisation is the independent champion for people who use health and social care services in Islington.

Jana joined Healthwatch Islington in 2014 and has been a member of our Board since 2017.

Jana works as a Programme Manager in the healthcare sector and has expertise in quality improvement, patient involvement, cancer, and end of life care. Jana is passionate about improving services to ensure they can better meet the needs of the people that depend on them.

Responding to the appointment, Jana said,

'Despite the many challenges that face health and social care services at this time, I am excited to take on the role of Chair for Healthwatch Islington. Having been involved with the organisation for many years, I've seen first hand the important role it plays in influencing change and ensuring local voices are heard. I look forward to working with my fellow Board members, as well as our staff team, to strive to build excellent health and social care services for Islington now, and in future.'
